Creating jobs and building futures

Job creation is an important aspect of Eramine's project in Argentina: it has helped to create more than 2,500  2400 direct jobs and 900 indirect jobs in the Salta region over the course of the construction phase. The company also contributes to the local economy. 92% of these jobs are filled by Argentinian nationals and around 76% of the workforce hails from Salta, with 7% coming from La Puna communities.

Eramine's impact doesn't stop there. With 2,517 people working in contracting companies, the company's influence ripples throughout Argentina, reaching communities far beyond Salta.

The company actively invests in education and talent development, particularly in the province of Salta, through university scholarships, professional internships, and ongoing training programs. It also supports local communities by offering professional and entrepreneurship courses in partnership with universities and specialized institutions.

Eramine also provided vocational training to 602 young people from the Salta region. They received professional instruction (Junior Achievement Programmes, mountain driving (ECAM), university mining degrees, Entrepreneurship Programmes), equipping the next generation with valuable skills and knowledge.
